The Nicene Creed

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit
was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven and is seated
at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord,
the giver of life, who proceeds
from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son
is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.
I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of the saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Prayer of Consecration to the Holy Spirit

O Holy Spirit, Thou Spirit of light
and love I consecrate to Thee my
understanding, my heart and my will, my whole being for time and eternity. Enlighten my mind to understand the truths
of religion and make my understanding to be always submissive to Thy heavenly
inspirations and to the teachings of the Catholic Church whose infallible guide guide Thou art. Inflame my heart with love of
God and of my neighbours. Grant that my will be ever conformed to the Divine Will, and that my whole life be in accord with
the teachings of our Lord and Savior, to whom with the Father and Thee, be honor
and glory for ever. Amen.

The Litany of Humility by Rafael Cardinal Merry del Val (1865-1930)

Lord Jesus. Meek and humble of heart, Hear me.
From the desire of being esteemed, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being loved, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being extolled, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being honored, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being praised, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being preferred to others, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being consulted, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being approved, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being humiliated, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being despised, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of suffering rebukes, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being calumniated, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being forgotten, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being ridiculed, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being wronged, Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being suspected, Deliver me, Jesus.

That others may be loved more than I, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be esteemed more than I, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.
That, in the opinion of the world, others may increase and I may decrease, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be chosen and I set aside, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be praised and I unnoticed, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be preferred to me in everything, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may become holier than I, provided that I may become as holy as I should, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.

Payer to Mary for an end to the Coronavirus Pandemic BY POPE FRANCIS

O Mary, you shine continuously
on our journey as a sign of salvation
and hope. We entrust ourselves to you,
Health of the Sick.
At the foot of the Cross you participated
in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith.
You, Salvation of the Roman People,
know what we need.
We are certain that you will provide,
so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee,
joy and feasting might return after
this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform ourselves to the
Father’s will and to do what
Jesus tells us:
He who took our sufferings upon Himself,
and bore our sorrows to bring us,
through the Cross, to the joy of the
Resurrection. Amen
We seek refuge
under your protection,
O Holy Mother of God.
Do not despise our pleas –
we who are put to the test –
and deliver us from every danger,
O glorious and blessed Virgin.

Prayer for Mother’s Day by Most Reverend Broderick Pabillo

English: Our loving Father, please pray for us and grant all mothers (who are here today with us in the online prayer mass). Bless them with the strength that comes from your Holy Spirit, because, through them; children learn how to get up and walk, how to talk and play, and how to approach your divine presence through sincere prayer. Grant them health and peace, of joy and happiness, so that they will continue to feel your love and affection. Likewise, we include in our prayers women who are not remembered especially those who quietly support their families, humbly serve, endure hardships for the sake of their husbands and children. And especially during these times of pandemic encouraged them to persevere. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Amen.

Three Beautiful Evening Prayers

Advertisements

By the sign of the cross (+) deliver us from our enemies, (+) you who are our God. (+) In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good,I have sinned against You Whom I should love above all things,I firmly intend, with Your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.Our Savior Jesus Christ, suffered and died for us.In His name, my God, have mercy.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.

Protect us, Lord, as we stay awake; watch over us as we sleep, that awake, we may keep watch with Christ, and asleep, we may rest in his peace.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

(+) In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Four Beautiful Morning Prayers

By the sign of the cross (+) deliver us from our enemies, (+) you who are our God. (+) In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, God Almighty, you have brought us safely to the beginning of this day. Defend us today by your mighty power, that we may not fall into any sin, but that all our words may so proceed and all our thoughts and actions be so directed, as to be always just in your sight.

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my relatives and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father.

Angel of God , my guardian dear, to Whom God’s love Commits me here. Ever this day be at my side, to light and guard and to rule and guide.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.

All this, I ask, (+) in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

We can make it optional to include The Lord’s Prayer, the Hail Mary, and the Doxology since we say them all the time when praying the Holy Rosary, the Stations of the Cross, etc.

Above is a collection of four prayers namely: Prayer to Keep in the Presence of God, Morning Offering, Angel of God, and the Saint Michael the Archangel Prayer. Just what we need to start the day! I suggest you add this page to your phone home screen for a one-tap access when you need it tomorrow! Please share this to your friends, too! Good morning!
